¡Feliz Navidad a todos! С Рождеством Христовым!

En la parroquia acabamos de poner el Belén. Procurando, como se hace en todas partes, que nuestro nacimiento tenga un marcado sabor local. En este caso: ruso. Año tras año lo vamos mejorando y cada vez viene más gente a visitarlo. Los niños disfrutan mirando, los mayores haciendo fotografías. Y los de la parroquia disfrutamos viendo como viene mucha gente a la Iglesia Católica: algunos de otras parroquias católicas de San Petersburgo, pero muchos de ellos son ortodoxos, protestantes, o no creyentes que con este motivo entran en la Iglesia Católica por primera vez. También disfrutamos porque siempre hay al lado del belén un parroquiano dispuesto a hablar un rato con los visitantes: a explicarle algo del evangelio o de la Iglesia. De este modo el Belén nos ayuda a hacernos presentes en la ciudad y a ofrecer a todo el mundo las maravillas de las tradiciones católicas, que son tan hermosas. Este año hemos añadido un horno de hacer pan (пикарния) y el castillo de Herodes. Esperemos que realmente venga mucha gente a verlo. Ciertamente
la gente empieza a decir que es el mejor Belén de Rusia...

Merry Christmas!


Merry Christmas to all! In our parish we have just put the Christmas crib, trying to make it a unique, local one. In this case: Russian. Each year we make it better and more and more people come visit it. Kids enjoy watching it and the grown ups take pictures. We, the people of the parish, enjoy seeing how many people enter the Catholic Church: some come from other catholic parishes in St. Petersburg, but a lot of them are orthodox, Protestants, or nonbelievers that enter the Catholic Church for the first time. We also enjoy that there is always a member of our Church standing by the nativity set ready to explain something about the nativity set or about the gospels or about the church to anybody that comes around.


The Christmas crib is a way of being present in the city and of offering all the people, the catholic traditions that are so beautiful. This year we have got a new oven to make bread and Herodes`s castle. We really hope a lot of people comes to see it. Certainly people start saying it's the best Christmas crib of Russia.
